Hey everyone!
Happy Week 10! YAY! The beginning of your journeys as Living 101 graduates will soon be upon you. Despite end-of-the-quarter priorities, I encourage you to find a balance between class work and lovingly, compassionately taking care of yourselves. Choose to create a peaceful and calm environment rather than take on stress and overwhelm.
Here’s a new QUOTE OF THE WEEK by Professor Sheppard to help support you:
I love how detailed and colorful the picture is. I love how the dead leaves effortlessly fly away as they are carried by the wind. It’s a perfect reminder of what you did through the Capstone: choosing what to let go of to become lighter as your journeys continue.
Whether you’re releasing procrastination, the masks you wear to fit in, the ways you work yourself into the ground so others say you’re good enough, or something else that doesn’t serve you, do so BEing loving and compassionate with yourselves.
One leaf in my tree that I am continuing to release is the expectation of people and circumstances outside of me. Expectations create a prison for them, which is actually really my prison (Law of Reflection). I’m learning to allow others to be where they are while still loving them unconditionally while I remind myself that my true happiness and fulfillment come from inside me.
With all my love,
Trystan Colburn
